I asked the Michael's Arts & Crafts manager about the imported candy and he assured me the FDA checks the candy. I have similar concerns about the safety of seafood from restaurant chains such as Red Lobster. Is there any safety measures, I can take as a parent, to ensure my family is not endangering their health? How can we encourage restaurants like Red Lobster to list the country of origin? Thanks!
